Save the date for the 2025 Shred It & Drug Take Back events, organized by the Bedford County Sheriff's Office. Bring unwanted/expired medications and personal papers for shredding to one of the locations below:

• Saturday, March 29, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Bedford Elementary School
• Saturday, April 19, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Jefferson Forest High School
• Saturday, May 10, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Staunton River High School

This is a free event. Donations of pet food or canned/nonperishable food will be accepted for the Bedford County Animal Shelter and local Christian ministries.
