In observance of the Christmas holiday, Bedford County government offices and facilities will operate on a modified schedule from December 24-26, 2025. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead for any services that may be impacted during this time.

Wednesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve)

• Most government offices will close at 12 p.m.
• The Treasurer’s Office and Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office will be closed all day
• The Bedford Area Welcome Center will be closed

Thursday, December 25 (Christmas Day)

• All government offices will be closed
• Gated waste convenience centers will be closed
• The Waste Management Facility will be closed
• The Bedford Area Welcome Center will be closed

Friday, December 26

• All government offices will be closed
