Registration is now open for the 2026 Citizen's Police Academy, hosted by the Bedford County Sheriff's Office. 

Classes will be held weekly on Tuesdays from 6–8 p.m., beginning May 26 and continuing through August 11. Sessions are typically hosted at the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office (1345 Falling Creek Rd., Bedford).

The Citizen's Police Academy is an educational opportunity intended to provide in-depth information about the Bedford County Sheriff's Office and its police operations. Programs include dispatch, internet crimes against children, patrol & tactical responses, K-9 unit, and more.
