The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office offers security assessments to businesses, churches or other facilities.

Following an in-person assessment of your property, we give some recommendations on how to improve security.

We also do specific assessments utilizing strategies from an international movement called Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). CPTED aims to dig at the roots of crime by examining the places where crime happens and the opportunities and motives for crime.
